Very shocking customer service, they dont care about people who rent property and just do make do repairs as they dont care how it effects the tents as all they see is the money they are getting and its not them that have to life there. They dont make their landlords stick to the law. They dont even know fire safety laws and the fact that you have to date carbon monoxide detectors so dont even care about their tenants health and safety just when you pay your rent. Very rude staff who act like they are better than anyone else.
Poor service and communication. Never told me they wasnt showing me around the property. Rang them up after waiting an hour to be told the occupiers were showing me around. Then had to travel over 35 miles to sign for the property. Then wasnt told I had to do an online form which was never emailed to me. This is a few days before due to move in and organising with sky to come set up. Very very unorganised, very poor communication would certainly not recommend using them to do any of my business. They take your money but dont give you the correct level of service.
As a landlord Martin and Co, Gainsborough have been consistently great for me and my tenants over the last 6 years.They are very professional yet friendly and always reply really quickly.I particularly like their online portal that lets me see everything connected to the letting in one place.Recently Stacey Sleight has been so wonderful helping me with a long list of improvements that i wanted to leave this review.
Terrible attitude to tenants. 6 weeks and counting with multiple issues in a property and no action taken. Tradesmen used dont turn up to appointments and then lie and say they did but you werent in. Relevant staff refuse to answer the phone to you when you try to chase issues up. I once stood outside the building for 10 minutes buzzing and calling the office and was not let in. I was also not offered a rolling contract as required and was told I had to sign for another 6 months. The house was filthy when I moved in. I truly wonder if any landlords know how badly their tenants get treated with Martin and Co.
