A hovel. The hubster had this booked for him by his work, and although cheap it was minging!!The staff were lovely, but there was no heating - In January - but a little electric fan. The decor - well, there wasn't any, the place was just an absolute dump. It was an actual joke how bad this place was.It was that bad, the next night that had been bought and paid for, but he didn't care, he went and booked another night and checked out.I wouldn't advise anyone on staying here.

The one star is only given because the staff here were very friendly and helpful, I would have given 0 stars if not for them. The hotel is very run down, broken fixtures, TV in room not working, musty smell in the rooms and corridors, noisy customers from the bar, stained ceiling tiles and no Wi-Fi all contributed to a disappointing stay. We even had someone knocking on our door at 1am asking for the whereabouts of someone. I feel for the staff here because they tried their best to cater for us but we were all let down by a business being run into the ground without any investment.
Dreadful place. No breakfast despite description. Double bed in single room. Swapped to twin room. Departure delayed by a good hour as some one associated with the hotel had blocked the entrance and gone to another pub (don't blame him). Dirty. Unpleasant. Never again and advise going elsewhere
