Food is always good, nice seating area inside but they also do takeaway. Parking available on the premises, but not many spaces. Friendly staff.
Used to be a pub but some years ago converted to provide fish and chip takeaway and very nice restaurant. As usual we had fish and chips which was to normal high standard although a wider range of meals is available. Clean and pleasant surroundings with friendly efficient staff. There is car parking and toilets and is only short distance from town centre and the Marshalls Yard shopping complex.
Was welcomed by a lovely young lady who was very polite and efficient. My only regret was not ordering one of their battered Pigs in Blankets!! I wont make that mistake again!
Love the fish and chips here, always top quality whether eating in or take away and the staff are always friendly and welcoming.Last visit on Friday and the fish and chips are as good as ever. My sister has gone vegan and she was happy to enjoy her meal as well. We got chatting to Helen and they are experimenting with vegan food to add more choice.
Absolutely a must visit! first time I visited today and the food is so nice! the inside is lovely and the toilets are immaculate (very important to me) you really must pay Helena and her husband a visit. so friendly and welcoming. They cater for people watching their weight too! if you have a celebration its perfect! your main on our birthday is free! we will be coming back here!! cannot believe I just drove past on many occasion without trying it out!! highly recommended. xx
